Ruvi chair
Ruvi is a chair made from an iron frame and white oak. The main idea was to create a composition within a system of iron that will hold the backrest that inserts the seat. The angles are meant to provide a sense of security in a few simple moves.
One concept.
Trying to emphasize the one main thing in the design has led me to create lots of sketches and mockups, searching for the best composition. After choosing one scheme I picked the right proportions.
The final design
The iron frame and the oak shapes have no soft corners at all, so they can fit the squared composition. The seat and backrest have the same size considering the manufacturing. The other angles are for better resting.
